Congratulations to Mark Palmer who submitted the winning logo
for the SERLS logo contest. Mark is a 56 year-old displaced steel
worker studying digital media design at Jefferson Community College in
Steubenville, Ohio. His interest in digital media as a second career
stems from a love of photography and manipulating digital images. He is
married with two kids and four grandchildren. His hobbies include both
full scale and radio controlled model aviation.
You will find our new logo on the top banner of our new website. The contest was open to all students participating in a graphic arts program at a post-secondary school located within the SERLS region. An honorable mention goes to Levi Carpenter of Otterbein College for his logo submission.
