 Podcasting and Your Library

spacer

Nearly half of all Americans are listening to podcasts on a regular basis because they provide a flexible way to learn information or to be entertained while driving, working out, or doing chores around the house.

Your library can reach these patrons, and build a deep and meaningful relationship with them, by launching your own show!

But does podcasting require a lot of technical knowledge? A professional sound room or recording studio?

In this webinar, Heather Teysko will break down the four things you need to start a podcast: a good idea, a sound file, a place to put that sound file, and a way for patrons to listen to it.

You will be well on your way to starting your own podcast and connecting with patrons in a new medium.

You'll Learn About:

  • Having a clear idea of why your librar would benefit from having a show
  • Having an understanding of how to start your new show
  • Podcasting technical requirements
